GARMENT CARE

Instead of a full wash, try to spot clean marks by hand. We have a tendency to wash clothes too often, which shortens the lifespan of the garment. For linen: wash on a delicate cycle at no more than 30C with a gentle, non-bio detergent, and air dry. Do not tumble dry.

I would not recommend machine washing wool lined gilets as they are prone to shrinking. Hand wash in cold water and air dry.

REPAIRS

To honour each CELIA BIRCHALL garment, and the longevity it was designed for, I offer a repairs service. Prolonging the lifespan of the garments I make is important: we shouldn't discard an item because it is old, rather we should love it for the story it tells. Please get in touch if your CELIA BIRCHALL garment needs a new zip, patching or a little bit of tlc.
